How to make an appointment for the TB test?

You can make an appointment either by phone call, email, or visiting the clinic. You should clarify and let them know you need an appointment for a UK visa application and expect to get one a few days after requesting one. If something comes up unexpectedly, then cancellations will happen very quickly – you just need to let them know ASAP if something happens.

Essential Documents for TB Test

You should bring –

• A photocopy of your passport or national ID card along with your photograph.
• The tuberculosis test fee.
• If you had tuberculosis previously and have any serious diseases like lung infection, bring the medical records.

TB Test Fees

You must pay the fees in BDT, visiting there at the clinic. The USD dollars will be converted to BDT based on the official exchange rate of IOM. It can be around ($1 = BDT 80 – 86). Basically, the exchange rate fluctuates over time.

In case you are tested positive for Tuberculosis or your visa is rejected, you won’t get the refund since the fee is non-refundable.

The test fee does not cover treatment, it is just for testing purposes.

After a questionnaire as well as a physical exam, all children will get a certificate. If there is any symptom of TB, you need to conduct a chest X-ray along with other follow-up tests.
