Scholarships In Malaysia

The Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) is a prestigious scholarship offered by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. It supports outstanding international students who wish to pursue Master’s, PhD, or Postdoctoral studies at selected Malaysian universities.

The scholarship is awarded based on:

The Malaysia Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) is funded by the Government of Malaysia for nominated students from eligible Commonwealth countries who wish to pursue a Master’s or PhD degree at selected Malaysian universities.

MTCP is also a Malaysian government-sponsored scholarship for international students coming from developing countries to pursue their postgraduate studies in Malaysia. A minimum CGPA of 3.00 at the undergraduate level is required, and an IELTS overall score of 6.0. The scholarship pays tuition fees and gives RM 3,500 monthly for other expenses, as well as an economy-class airline return ticket.

Many universities in Malaysia offer scholarships of up to 100% for selected programmes. Scholarship availability depends on the university, course, and intake.
