This scholarship is awarded to students who have potential leadership and high-achieving academic backgrounds. Students get full financial assistance to study for any eligible master’s program at any UK university. In the 2025-26 academic year, more than 200 scholarships are sponsored by more than 70 universities across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Candidates must have an undergraduate degree and English language proficiency.

Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) in the UK manages this scholarship, awarding it to accomplished individuals who can bring a positive change or development to the global setting. Eligibility–

• Citizen of a Commonwealth country. A refugee or a British-protected person is also eligible.
• 2:1(3.3 to 3.7 CGPA) results in an undergraduate degree
• An appropriate master’s degree is required for studying a PhD.
• Unable to study in the UK without a scholarship.

The Gates Cambridge Scholarship was established in October 2000 with a benchmark donation of $210 million from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to the University of Cambridge. Eligibility–

1. Age between 18 and 24 on 1st October 2025 ( born after 1 October 2000 and before 2 October 2007)

OR for medical students with a compulsory professional internship:

1. Age between 18 and 25 on 1st October 2025 ( born after 1 October 1999 and before 2 October 2007)

OR for older candidates who completed their first undergraduate degree later than usual:

iii. Age under 27 on 1st October 2025 (i.e. have been born after 1 October 1998) AND must also have completed a first undergraduate degree on or after 1 October 2024.
