Academic requirement Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia offers international students admission in over 217 postgraduate programs through an online step-by-step application process. To be eligible for a master’s degree, the applicant must have a bachelor’s degree with honors in the relevant field from a recognized university. Research programs require a master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university. To qualify for the undergraduate program, candidates must score at least 70% in HSC or A Level, or 25 in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP). English Proficiency requirement To be admitted to UiTM, international applicants must provide proof of their English language proficiency, which can be demonstrated by submitting eligible test scores such as IELTS, TOEFL, and MUET. Meeting the required criteria is a prerequisite for admission. If an applicant is unable to meet the English language proficiency requirements, they will be required to attend a 6-month English proficiency class (EPC) and take an English language test. However, students who have completed their undergraduate degree from a recognized institution in Malaysia or are native English speakers are exempt from taking the UiTM English language test. The minimum required score for undergraduate programs is 6 in IELTS, while a score of 6 to 7 is necessary for graduate/master’s programs.
