The Australia Awards scholarships are government-funded scholarships aimed at advancing the long-term development needs of Australia’s partner countries, in alignment with global, bilateral, and regional agreements. The Awards usually cover full tuition fees, return air travel, establishment allowance, living expenses, an Introductory Academic Program, health expenses, and initial visa expenses. Depending on requirements and eligibility, it may also cover pre-course English language training fees, supplementary academic support, fieldwork, and reunion airfare (for unaccompanied awardees). A minimum age for this scholarship is 18 years as of 1 February in the year the scholarship begins. Eligible applicants must demonstrate their ability to meet the requirements of the institution where they will study under the scholarship. Applicants also need to fulfill the visa and other relevant requirements.
The Australian Government offers funding both for domestic and overseas students undertaking a research doctorate and a research master’s degree. Provides complete fee remission for up to two years for master’s by research students and up to four years for doctoral students. Students can also be offered a stipend for general living costs or allowances related to the ancillary costs of HDR(Higher Degree by Research) programs. Subject to academic results and research potential, students will be selected for this scholarship.
