The admission process is now based on selecting a limited number of applicants to sit straight for the single main Written Admission Test.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-7\"><p><strong>General Applicants:<\/strong><br \/>\nFrom all correct applicants, only the top 10,000 applicants will be allowed to participate in the Admission Test.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ranking Priority:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe selection is based on the highest aggregate score in: 1. Higher Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry marks in the HSC\/Equivalent exam, followed by 2. Higher Mathematics and Physics marks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tie-Breaker Policy:\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nIf the 10,000th applicant has the same total score in the three subjects, all applicants with that score will be considered eligible to take the test.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GCE &#8216;O&#8217; and &#8216;A&#8217; Level Applicants:<\/strong><br \/>\nFrom all qualified applicants, the top 300 will be selected for the Admission Test, and the selection preference will be based on the grades acquired in Mathematics and Physics in the GCE &#8216;A&#8217; Level Examination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Small Ethnic Groups:<\/strong><br \/>\nAll eligible applicants from small ethnic groups will be allowed to participate in the Admission Test, provided they meet the minimum qualifications.
